On June 18, 2022 Argyle Rebel Films is partnering with UNC greats Phil Ford and Ken Mack to present An Evening For Men’s Health. The pair of Chapel Hill legends will be joining Director/Producer Michael Washington to screen the documentary film, “Save The Dad Bod: a Men’s health odyssey”. After the film Coach Ford and Coach Mack will be joined by Dr. Eric Wallen for a once in a lifetime conversation about men’s health.  

100% of the events proceeds will be donated to the UNC Men’s Health Program. “Our mission is twofold” Washington said “one to get men to wake up and take their health seriously, and two to financially support the efforts of the UNC men’s health program. An Evening for Men’s Health will be held at the Varsity theater in Chapel Hill, NC June 18, 2022 at 7 PM. The event is free to all guests, but a donation is highly encouraged.   

The Players

Coach Phil Ford is a Hall of Fame point guard who needs no introduction. The leader of Dean Smith’s Four Corners, Ford has become synonymous with greatness on and off the court.

Ken Mack was star tailback at UNC Chapel Hill from 1976-78. He was an assistant coach for the Tar Heels from 1996-99. Coach Mack is currently the Director of Major Gifts for the Rams Club.

Dr. Wallen received his medical degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and completed his residency in urologic surgery at Stanford University. After residency, Dr. Wallen served as Assistant Professor of Urology in the Department of Surgery at Dartmouth Medical School. He joined the Division of Urology at UNC in 2003 and was appointed Urology Program Director in 2011. He is now a professor in the UNC Department of Urology and continues in his role as program director.
